Our mission is to promote the study of planetary science and astronomy with emphasis on meteorites; and to sponsor, encourage, and assist in the physical, astronomical, environmental, and cultural sciences so as to broaden man's knowledge of all phases of the universe.

CHRISTINA HOLLIS METEORITE EXHIBIT

In April 2023, we celebrated the life and curiosity of PSF Member, Christina Hollis, through a dedication ceremony of the Christina Hollis Meteorite Exhibit at the Putnam Museum in Davenport, IA.

PSF VIRTUAL

EARTH & SPACE SCIENCE MUSEUM

From 2014 to 2019 PSF had an Earth and Space Science Museum located in Elizabeth, Illinois. It showcased meteorites, local geology specimens, astronaut memorabilia and Antarctica exploration displays. In 2019 the museum closed so that PSF could focus on meteorite research. You can view a virtual rendition of the museum at the link below.
